Gracing the cover of my book are these three beauties that I have built with only the finest bodies, necks and hardware. The pickups on all three are Lace Sensors. I do much of my business through Warmoth Guitar Products and Stewart-MacDonald. And you'll be glad to know that they are available for purchase! I also do custom builds and repairs. Originally built by Pete of Pete's Guitars, I bought this bass from Knut-Koupee in the early 90's (memory check). The unfinished Warmoth body was spray painted blue. I carefully stripped it down to the bare wood and gave it a beautiful clear finish. I added a Warmoth maple neck with an ebony fingerboard which I also finished. The pickups are early EMG's. It looks, plays and sounds like a dream!

The Casio CDP-100 piano/controller is connected to a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 interface by MIDI in/out. Also pictured is a Roland SPD-One Electro drum pad. I use a SansAmp DI preamp for guitar and bass. Next is a Native Instruments Maschine Jam. To the right of my MacBook Pro is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and Korg 05R-W sound module connected to my PC for use with Cakewalk DAW. At my right hand is a NI Komplete Kontrol S25 keyboard controller.

A good sounding, well set up instrument can do wonders for your playing experience. There's no reason to fight with high string action, fret buzz or inferior quality. I can help you get any instrument up to specs and improved playability. Even a regular tune-up (new strings, clean frets, align neck and intonation) can go a long way. Contact me right away!

Native Instruments gear is very well matched. My Maschine Jam & Komplete Kontrol S25 are designed to work together seamlessly as a music production system.
Both pieces can be assigned to Maschine 2, Logic Pro X and Ableton Live 10 while accessing Komplete Kontrol and the Waves Gold Bundle.
Remote creations on the iMaschine 2 app for iOS can easily be uploaded to a studio project.

Synth guitar has come a long way from the 80's monophonic, limited sample rigs. The Roland GR-55 has a vast palette with remarkable tracking. I added the Roland GK-3 synth pickup to one of my builds making it truly versatile. A three way switch allows for synth only, guitar pickups only or in combo. My Godin ACS Nylon Natural SG has equal versatility.
Both guitars offer their own textural qualities while complimenting a traditional piano/MIDI controller and music production system such as my NI Maschine Jam.
